“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.” – Mark Twain
I’ve been a reader my whole life. My father used to work at a publishing company in Boston, so books were always around. In fact, our bookshelves at home were constantly overflowing, stuffed with far more books than it could hold.
I have early childhood memories revolving around Curious George and his wild adventures. I can also hear my mom reading The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe to me before bed. And then, of course, my older brother started reading Harry Potter and I just had to read it too!
I started this blog in college, because I love books and this was a way for me to talk about them with people who love them too. Now that I’ve graduated from college (#FightOn) and am working in Colorado, I find myself juggling the “booktube/bookstagram” lifestyle (aka reading books and posting about them all day) and the real world. Although my posting has been, and will be, sporadic, I’m slowly getting back into writing on this blog and I hope you’ll enjoy reading what I have to say.
